Rashid is the 2007 Gateway Division Fencing Champion!!

This is a image of Rashid with her Coach, Raul Toro, of the Jacksonville Fencing Club. She is wearing her two new gold medals. In the same day, April 29, 2007, Rashid fenced a Div II Women's Epee qualifier for National Championship coming up this summer in Miami. She won it, taking a gold medal in Women's Epee and qualifying for Nationals. Later that day, she switched weapons and competed in the Women's Saber qualifer. She won that as well...taking the gold and qualifying again!
