Staying Focused To The End
Here's a quick sketch I did recently at a local fencing tournament.
For those of you who don't know, fencing tournaments can be ALL DAY EVENTS especially if you are winning. Sometimes there can be a lot of down time between your battles (bouts). The days get even longer when there's not enough referees (directors) to keep things moving along. For the fencer, it can be hard to maintain focus, especially when you can easily socialize with your friends and family. BUT the fencers that get the medals in the end are the ones who manage to STAY FOCUSED best....(like the guy in the very back carrying his Epee!) LOL!
