Passion, Perception, Symbolism: Princess Rashid (Solo Exhibition @ LEMA)

Tampa artist Princess Rashid translates her passion for physics, astronomy and math into abstract forms and symbols using vibrant color and canvas. Fascinated by the science behind eye-to brain communication that allows visual perception, Rashid intuitively chooses flowing acrylic colors to brush, pour and drip with vigor to build power, beauty, drama and emotion into enthralling expressions that engage and enchant.

Hey everyone, my solo exhibition at the Lake Eustis Museum of Art in Eustis, FL opens tomorrow, May 27th. The show is entitled, "Passion, Perception, Symbolism: Princess Rashid". There are 31 paintings and collages in the show and it runs until June 26, 2011.

Opening Reception: May 27th, 6-9 pm.
